At Stadler Nurseries, we believe every tree planted contributes to a healthier planet. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone: in 2024, we planted over 26,500 trees—a collective achievement made possible by our customers, including homeowners, builders, land developers, HOAs, towns, cities, municipalities, schools, universities, government facilities, and public parks.

Each tree plays a vital role in fighting climate change. Trees absorb carbon dioxide, improve air quality, provide shade, and reduce the urban heat effect. They also help manage stormwater, prevent erosion, and create essential habitats for birds, pollinators, and wildlife. By adding more than 26,500 new trees to our landscapes, we’ve made a measurable impact on our local ecosystem—cooler summers, cleaner air, and stronger biodiversity for generations to come.

Just how big is this impact? While absorption rates vary based on species and size, a general estimate suggests that the trees we planted last year will absorb approximately 583,000 pounds (292 tons) of CO₂ per year. Over 40 years, they will absorb around 11,660 tons of CO₂—helping to combat climate change in a truly meaningful way. To put this into perspective, that’s like eliminating the energy use of 36 homes for a year or removing the emissions from burning approximately 29,700 gallons of gasoline.
