Do you dream of a cherry tree-filled landscape but lack the planting skills? Stadler Nurseries makes those dreams a reality. We offer planting services within 30 miles of our store locations. You choose your shrubs, trees or perennials, and we plant them with expert care. Let us give your yard the glow-up it deserves.

Proven Planting Service Process

We root our planting service in technical expertise, horticultural knowledge and a passion for flora. Here’s what you can expect from our streamlined process:

  1. Placing your order: You’ll see three order methods on the product page — pick up, delivery or planting. Select the “Planting Services” option. We include the delivery fee as part of this service.
  2. Marking planting locations: Before we arrive with your plants, we send you marking flags in the mail. You set these in the ground where you want us to plant.
  3. Scheduling planting: Deliveries often arrive within one to two days, and we’ll call you to arrange a planting date. Contactless professional planting means we handle the installation without requiring any face-to-face interaction with you.
  4. Planting service: On planting day, our crew digs holes at the right depth, fills them with compost, and sets your plants up for long-term health. We add an individual mulch ring around the plant, with tree stakes if necessary.
  5. Careful cleanup: After we’ve settled your tree, shrub or perennial plant in its new home, we clean up any debris.

Service Specifications and Limitations

While we go the extra mile to give your plants the best possible start, our planting service has certain exclusions and considerations:

  • Plant removal: If you have existing trees or shrubs in the planting area, we can remove these at an additional fee. Please ask us for a removal estimate before selecting the planting service.
  • Landscape beds: Creating landscape beds falls outside of our standard planting service. Contact our team for pricing.
  • Stump and roots: A new tree needs plenty of space to establish its root system. Planting within 10 feet of a stump or roots from a removed tree can affect this growth. You will either need to arrange for stump grinding from a tree removal company or move the planting location. Review stump and root considerations or call us for advice.
