A very durable tree having the outline of the American Elm tree, thus making it a suitable replacement in large landscapes. The Allee Elm is a stately tree for use as a specimen or as a street tree.

Size: 50 to 65 feet high and wide

Shape: Upright-spreading

Fall Color: Subdued yellow

Rate of Growth: Medium to fast

Other Attributes: Seems to be pollution tolerant. Resistant to Dutch Elm disease. Exfoliating bark as it ages.

Growing Conditions: Plant in full sun in organic, moist, well-drained soil.
