A small to medium sized ornamental tree that looks particularly good in naturalistic plantings, such as the edges of woodlands. May also be used in shrub borders, and around patios or townhouse yards.

Size: 20 to 30 feet high and 15 to 20 feet wide

Shape: Upright-oval

Flowers: Fleecy white flowers in spring

Fall Color: Yellowish to orange-scarlet

Rate of Growth: Medium

Other Attributes: Good for use where limited branch spread is needed.

Growing Conditions: Plant in full sun to partial shade in moist, acid, well-drained soil.
