Volume Discounts

Volume discounts are awarded based on purchases made in 2008. We will be reviewing your purchases quarterly. If, at that time, your purchases have moved into the next discount tier, your discount will increase at that time. The discount tiers are as follows:

$1,000 - 2,999		10% discount
$3,000 - 6,999		15% discount
$7,000+		20% discount

Discounts are applicable to accounts in good standing. Discounts are not applied to non-plant purchases or delivery fees. Discounts for 2011 will be based on 2010 purchase totals. Please contact our Contracting Department to determine the discount level for your company.

Delivery Rates

Trip Charge: $35 per truck
Mileage Charge: $3.00 per LOADED MILE from the Distribution Center closest to your delivery address.

Holding Policy

Stadler will hold plant orders up to 7 days. Annuals cannot be held, due to their perishable nature. Any orders that need to be held beyond 7 days must be paid for in full at the end of the 7 day period for us to continue to hold the plants. However, because of the perishability of plants, after 7 days we can no longer be held responsible for plant counts or quality, even though you have paid for them.

Special Orders

Special orders of plants or non-plant merchandise (statuary, pots, hardgoods, etc) that are not regularly stocked items or in quantities that are not normally stocked must be pre-paid.

Visitors

You are welcome to meet your customers at the Nursery to select plants. However, to best protect everyone's interests, we will not assist your customers without you present. We cannot deal with your customers directly under any circumstances. Do not send your customers to look at plants without a representative of your company.

Methods of Payment

Stadler Nurseries accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover or company checks. For those with established credit, our terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice. Overdue accounts are subject to a 2% per month (24% per annum) finance charge. Accounts are considered overdue after 30 days.

Returned Check Fee

A fee of $25 will be charged on all returned checks.

Prices

This is a wholesale price list intended for use by members of the trade only. Prices are subject to change without a notice. Quantity discounts and special job quotes are available. Please fax your plant lists.

Ordering

This guide is not comprehensive. We stock many plants not listed in the catalog. Please phone in or fax your plant list for pricing and availability.

Sales Tax

Under the Maryland Sales and Use Tax Act we are required to collect 6% tax on gross sales made in Maryland unless the buyer files an exemption certificate with us.

Under the Virginia Sales and Use Tax Act, we are required to collect 5% tax on gross sales made in Virginia unless the buyer files an exemption with us.

Warranty

We represent and warrant solely that the stock purchased by the Buyer shall be true to grade. No other or further representations or warranties whatsoever, whether expressed or implied, will be made. In any event the liability of the Company and the Buyer's maximum damages shall not exceed the purchase price of such stock. All orders are subject to crop losses or other conditions beyond our control.

All sales are final. No returns or exchanges. Claims must be submitted in writing within 5 days.
